The “Mother Tongue” award will be established for linguists and media representatives.
Modern.az reports that the proposal of Professor Gulu Maharramli, who put forward this initiative, has been approved by the President of ANAS, Isa Habibbayli.
He said that the award will be presented on February 21.
Isa Habibbayli noted that ANAS will establish the “Mother Tongue” award for linguists, and the Press Council will establish it for the media:
“The name of the Olympiads will be “Mother Tongue” Olympiads. The awards are planned to be presented on February 21”.
