More than 60 combat aircraft have been concentrated in Jordan.
Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that new satellite images and flight monitoring data indicate a sharp increase in the United States' military activity in the Middle East. According to images released by Airbus, an unprecedented scale of US forces has gathered in the area of the Muwaffaq Salti airbase, located in central Jordan.
According to the information, at least 68 cargo aircraft have landed at the airbase. This indicates the urgent transportation of ammunition and military equipment to the region. Simultaneously, new air defense systems have been deployed to the facility with the aim of intercepting Iranian missiles during potential retaliatory strikes.
Furthermore, the US has sent the Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier, considered the largest aircraft carrier in the world, to the Middle East.
According to analysts, these steps indicate that Washington is seriously preparing for a possible military escalation in the region.
