Iran has announced that a US base and other targets in Bahrain have been struck.
Modern.az reports that, according to Iranian state television, in response to attacks by the US and Israel on the country, the Iranian army targeted a US base located in Bahrain with kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Footage broadcast by state television showed a kamikaze UAV striking a base presumed to belong to the US.
The report stated that other US targets in Bahrain were also struck.
On the other hand, the Bahraini Ministry of Interior announced that some buildings in the capital city of Manama had been targeted.
The Ministry's statement noted: “Some residential buildings in Manama have been targeted. Civil Defense teams are continuing firefighting and rescue operations in the areas affected by the attack.”
Footage circulated on social media shows a kamikaze UAV, presumed to be Iranian, crashing into a high-rise building and causing a powerful explosion.
