Iran struck Kuwait International Airport using unmanned aerial vehicles.

Modern.az reports, citing AFP, that the information was released by the Civil Aviation Administration.

It was reported that the attack caused minor damage to the airport, and several employees were injured. Terminal T1 was damaged. Emergency services are currently operating in the area.

It should be noted that earlier, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that the army had launched a preemptive operation against Iran called “Lion's Roar.” US President Donald Trump stated that Washington participated in this military operation. The Pentagon announced that the operation was named “Epic Fury.”

In response, Iran launched dozens of ballistic missiles towards Israel. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the launch. Additionally, Iran targeted US military bases located in the Middle East and named the operation “True Promise 4.”
