In total, more than 2,500 applications have been received from over 50 countries regarding evacuation from Iran.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a press briefing in Baku, together with his Moldovan counterpart Mihai Popșoi.
“A significant portion of these applications have been facilitated for passage through Azerbaijan's land border. We also traditionally do not withhold our assistance to foreign citizens who find themselves in difficult situations.”
