Appeals have been made to our diplomatic representatives from Middle Eastern countries
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a press briefing in Baku, together with his Moldovan counterpart Mihai Popșoi.
“Nearly 1000 Azerbaijani citizens from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, and Bahrain have contacted our diplomatic missions, and pilgrims have been evacuated from Saudi Arabia. Of them, 293 were Azerbaijani citizens, and 9 were Georgian Azerbaijanis.”
