SEPAH commander killed - CLAIM

An Israeli official claimed that Alireza Tangsiri, the commander of the Naval Forces of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), was killed as a result of a strike in the city of Bandar Abbas.

Modern.az reports that, according to informed sources, Tangsiri was the person responsible for the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

Reportedly, neither the Iranian side nor the Israeli army has yet issued an official statement regarding the incident.
