Italy's Minister of Defense, Guido Crosetto, has expressed his concern regarding possible war scenarios involving Iran.
Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that information regarding events that may occur in the coming weeks and their impact on the economy, as well as daily life, seriously concerns him:
“I am compelled to know about matters that do not allow me to sleep. I am thinking about what might happen in the coming weeks, and what impact this will have on the economy and our daily lives.”
Crosetto noted that Italy has not supported this war and that official Rome's position was not sought:
“We have not supported this war, and no one has asked for our opinion.”
According to the minister, the duration of wars depends more on the resistance of the weaker side than on the stronger side:
“The duration of wars depends not on the strength of the powerful, but on the resistance of the weak. Iran's potential must be taken into account. Iran is larger than Ukraine, has a greater population, and possesses a history spanning millennia,” he noted.
