Israel's opposition leader Yair Lapid criticized the country's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for concluding a ceasefire agreement with Iran.
Modern.az reports that Lapid wrote on the social network “X”:
"Never in our entire history has there been such a diplomatic disaster. Israel was not even present at the negotiating table when decisions concerning the foundations of our national security were being made".
According to the Israeli opposition leader, “the army fulfilled everything that was required of them, and society showed astonishing resilience”, but Netanyahu “suffered a diplomatic failure, experienced a strategic failure, and failed to achieve any of the goals he set for himself”.
“Therefore, it will take us years to eliminate the diplomatic and strategic damage caused by the egoism, indifference, and lack of strategic planning demonstrated by Netanyahu”, – Lapid emphasized.
