Azerbaijan has refused to participate in the “Intervision” international song contest to be held in Moscow on September 20.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
According to him, Armenia has not yet confirmed its participation, while Azerbaijan has refused the initial offer.
The minister noted that more than 20 countries will participate in the contest.
Russia, Belarus, Venezuela, Vietnam, Egypt, India, Kazakhstan, Qatar, China, Colombia, Cuba, Kyrgyzstan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, USA, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and the Republic of South Africa have confirmed their participation.
