European Union Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos has arrived in Azerbaijan.

Marta Kos will get acquainted with mine clearance operations in Aghdam.
At the same time, Marta Kos will be informed about the restoration and reconstruction work carried out in the liberated territories.
It should be noted that the EU Commissioner's visit coincides with a crucial moment in the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process and will provide an opportunity to present the EU's Interregional Connectivity Agenda as a concrete contribution to regional development.
In addition, Commissioner Kos will discuss common strategic interests with the Azerbaijani authorities, including issues of energy, transport, and anti-mine efforts.
Marta Kos will hold high-level meetings with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, and Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov.
