Galina Mehdiyeva, wife of Ramiz Mehdiyev, former head of the Presidential Administration and former president of ANAS, has been dismissed.
Modern.az reports that, according to information from Manset.az, Elchin Babayev, Rector of Baku State University (BSU), signed a relevant order regarding this. According to that order, G. Mehdiyeva was some time ago relieved of her position as head of the Department of Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty at BSU. By another order, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Honored Teacher Vagif Ibrahimov was appointed in her place.
It should be noted that V. Ibrahimov is the brother of MP Eldar Ibrahimov.
