Salaries paid to soldiers in Azerbaijan will be disbursed via bank cards.
According to information from **Modern.az**, "soldier cards" have been prepared for this purpose.
It is noted that the distribution of "soldier cards" to military personnel has already begun.
Military expert, retired Lieutenant Colonel Ibrahim Rustamli stated in a comment to our website that "soldier cards" are being implemented to ensure transparency:
"Soldier salaries were previously disbursed via payrolls, with soldiers signing to receive them. Now, soldier salaries will be paid through "soldier cards." This holds great importance in terms of maintaining transparency. These cards will, to some extent, prevent instances of bribery."
