More than 50 percent of the quota allocated for Hajj pilgrimage from Azerbaijan has already been filled.
This was reported by Vüsal Cahangiri, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Caucasus Muslims Office (QMİ) and head of the Hajj electronic system, in response to an inquiry from Modern.az.
He stated that registration for the Hajj pilgrimage continues uninterrupted, and a revitalization has been observed in this direction in recent days.
The QMİ official called on citizens intending to go on the Hajj pilgrimage to apply without waiting for the deadline.
“Citizens apply to QMİ every day. The registration process continues ceaselessly, and places are filling up rapidly,” V.Cahangiri stated.
It should be noted that the acceptance of documents for those wishing to go on the Hajj pilgrimage began on October 22, 2025.
Due to price increases observed in all countries, as well as the introduction of new services by the relevant authorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, QMİ has set the price of a pilgrimage package for one person at 6100 US dollars (10 370 manat) for the 2026 Hajj season.
The pilgrimage will be organized in a unified format and carried out by air transport.
Required documents:
1) General civil passport (must be valid for at least 1 year);
2) Copy of identity card;
3) 2 color photographs taken on a white background, measuring 5 cm × 5 cm (women in dark hijab);
4) Health certificate.
It should be reminded that the acceptance of documents will end on February 15, 2026, regardless of whether the quota is filled or not.
