Revanchist forces in Armenia are making serious preparations for the parliamentary elections to be held in June 2026.
Modern.az reports, citing "Hraparak", that the "Dashnaktsutyun” party, more commonly known as Dashnaks, will participate as a bloc together with former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The newspaper does not rule out that the parties will not directly announce this, but will limit themselves to an indirect notification.
It is probable that former president Serjik Sarkisyan may also join the alliance to be formed by the Dashnaks and Kocharyan. If the united bloc wins the parliamentary elections, serious obstacles may arise in the peace talks progressing positively between Azerbaijan and the Nikol Pashinyan government.
