From January 17, the fare on express routes No. 594 and 595, operating in the Baku-Sumgayit direction, will be increased by 10 qəpik, amounting to 90 qəpik.
This was reported to Modern.az by the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA).
Specifically, routes No. 594 and 595 will now operate as an alternative to the main regular lines. When the aforementioned routes were put into operation, there were few alternatives in that direction. Currently, the newly established route No. 500 and the extended route No. 503 buses meet the main demand between the two cities since last year. The fare on these routes remains unchanged at 80 qəpik. Currently, a total of 41 environmentally friendly CNG-engine and modern BMC brand buses are operated on these lines.
It was noted that the price on express routes is always set higher than on regular routes.
