Ilham Aliyev signed a document in Davos regarding Azerbaijan's accession to the Peace Council.
Modern.az reports that the signing ceremony took place at the World Economic Forum held in Davos. US leader Trump signed the charter of the Peace Council and became the chairman of the Council.
At the ceremony, representatives from the Middle East and South America (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Argentina, and Paraguay), as well as Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev participated.
On stage with Trump, there were representatives from fewer than 20 countries, but none of the US's traditional Western European allies participated in the ceremony.
