At the Baku Military Court, the verdict is being read to the accused in the ongoing trial of Armenian citizens.
Modern.az reports that, according to the verdict, David Manukyan has been definitively sentenced to life imprisonment.
It should be recalled that the prosecutors representing the state prosecution had also proposed life imprisonment for the accused. Manukyan was a serviceman of the Armenian armed forces, held various positions, and served in the senior military rank of major general.
It should be noted that the trial of citizens of the Republic of Armenia accused of committing crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, including the preparation and conduct of aggressive war, genocide, violation of the laws and customs of war, as well as terrorism, financing of terrorism, forcible seizure of power, forcible retention of power, and numerous other crimes as a result of Armenia's military aggression, continues with the reading of the verdict.
