Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in a post by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on the social network "X".
During the conversation, J. Bayramov extended condolences on behalf of the President, government, and people of Azerbaijan regarding the explosion in Islamabad, and expressed solidarity with Pakistan.
"The Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister strongly condemned the attack and reaffirmed Pakistan's resolve to combat the threat of terrorism. The foreign ministers also discussed current regional and international developments of mutual interest, and reaffirmed the strong partnership between Pakistan and Azerbaijan", - the ministry's statement emphasized.
