On February 7, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephone conversation.
According to information provided to Modern.az by the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, during the telephone conversation, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov condemned the terrorist incident that occurred at a mosque in Islamabad, and conveyed his deepest condolences to the families of the victims, the government, and the people of Pakistan. He emphasized that our country always stands by Pakistan in its efforts to combat terrorism.
During the telephone conversation, various aspects of partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, issues arising from agreements reached between the two countries, as well as the regional security situation were also discussed.
