In the period after the 44-day Patriotic War, 2439 individuals with war-related disabilities were provided with 91.8 thousand rehabilitation aids. 265 participants of the Patriotic War regained their former health, leaving their disabilities behind.”
Regarding this, Tural Gurbanov, Head of the Public Relations and Internal Communication Department of the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency, informed in his statement to Modern.az.
He stated that currently, under the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency, a total of 15 rehabilitation institutions, including 4 children's rehabilitation centers, 1 Prosthetic-Orthopedic Production and Rehabilitation Center, and 1 “RehaPoint” Rehabilitation Point, all equipped with modern facilities, are operating.
Of these, 7 are located in the cities of Baku and Sumgayit, while the others are located, respectively, in the cities of Shaki, Shirvan, Khachmaz, Yevlakh, Lankaran, Naftalan, Gabala, Shamkir, and Barda.
