The director of Nakhchivan Medical College has been dismissed from their post.
Modern.az reports that a relevant order has been signed in this regard. According to the order, the college director Sona Mammadova has been dismissed from her post. The temporary performance of the college director's duties has been entrusted to Saida Shahverdiyeva.
It should be noted that S. Mammadova was appointed director in 2016 by a relevant decree of Vasif Talibov, Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
According to the decision of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 31, 2023, Nakhchivan Medical College has been transferred under the Nakhchivan State University of the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan.
