Azerbaijan-Moldova relations date back decades.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a joint press conference in Baku with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, Mihai Popșoi.
The Minister stated that when speaking about relations between the countries, high-level political dialogue, very sincere relations and meetings between leaders can be noted: “Meetings take place almost every year. However, a bilateral visit itself holds special importance. A format for political consultations exists between the two countries, and the next political consultations will be held in the second half of 2026.”
