Modern.az reports that this was stated by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a briefing held in Baku together with his Moldovan counterpart Mihai Popșoi.
“Drone attacks were carried out by Iran on Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan territory. I informed my counterpart about this unacceptable attack. Azerbaijan's position was clearly conveyed. Iran's ambassador was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a note was presented to him, and Azerbaijan's demands were conveyed. I have had several contacts with the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Iranian side has promised that the issue will be seriously investigated. We will, of course, expect a response to the investigation in the near future.”
