An increase has been recorded in the number of women obtaining driving licenses for operating vehicles compared to previous years.
Modern.az reports that this information is reflected in the statistical indicators released by the State Statistical Committee on the occasion of March 8.
According to the information, while the proportion of women among those obtaining driving licenses was 4.6 percent in 2008, this indicator reached 18.8 percent in 2025.
It should be recalled that while the proportion of women in the total number of those obtaining driving licenses was 4.6 percent in 2008, it increased to 15.9 percent in 2024.
