President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude to a number of country leaders who condemned the drone attacks carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran against Nakhchivan, an integral part of Azerbaijan.
Modern.az reports that the President's messages of gratitude were shared on Ilham Aliyev's X account.
The President expressed his gratitude to Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev as follows:
“I express my gratitude to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, for condemning the attacks carried out by the Iranian state against Nakhchivan and for the support shown to our country in the spirit of fraternal and allied relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.”

The message of gratitude to the President of Slovakia states:
“I express my sincere gratitude to the President of Slovakia, Peter Pellegrini, for the principled stance and solidarity demonstrated after the recent drone attacks carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran on civilian infrastructure in Nakhchivan.
Azerbaijan's immediate support in the evacuation of the Slovak diplomatic mission from Tehran is a clear example of the high-level and strategic relations between our countries, as well as an an expression of our commitment to international cooperation.”
