Automated assessment will be applied in the state procurement audit process in Azerbaijan.

It was reported that a meeting was held under the leadership of the Chairman of the Chamber, Vugar Gulmammadov, on points to be considered in the audit of state procurements. Members of the Board of the Chamber of Accounts and employees of its structural divisions participated in the meeting.
Firstly, a presentation was shown on the main issues to be evaluated during the planning and implementation stages of state procurement audits. Discussions were held regarding the legality, efficiency, and effectiveness of state procurements.
Subsequently, the Head of the Chamber's Apparatus and an employee of the Department for Digitalization of State Audit and Management of Information Infrastructure, speaking at the meeting, presented information on the current status of work carried out for the digitalization of state audit. It was noted that automated processing and assessment of data entered into and transmitted through various information systems, including those related to state procurements, based on relevant criteria, is envisioned.
Finally, the Chairman of the Chamber gave instructions to the Board members and heads of structural divisions for increasing the efficiency of state financial control, expanding work related to the digitalization of state audit, and improving the methodological document for state procurement audits.
The Chairman noted that issues related to the analysis of the execution of the state budget, as well as the execution of state investments for individual projects of client organizations, will be discussed at the next meeting.
