With the arrival of the spring season, against the backdrop of unstable weather conditions, an increase in respiratory diseases, as well as seasonal flu cases, may be observed.
Information on this matter was provided to Modern.az by the Ministry of Health.
It was stated that due to the coincidence of Novruz and Ramadan holidays in the same period this year, holiday celebrations and various mass events are expected to be held in the coming weeks.
For the purpose of protecting the health of the country's population and preventing the spread of infectious diseases, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan recommends that citizens use personal protective equipment for the respiratory tract, observe hand hygiene, pay attention to food intake, and include vitamin-rich products in their daily diet during the upcoming holidays and non-working days, especially at mass events and in crowded places.
At the same time, considering the variable weather conditions during the spring season, it is advised to choose outerwear appropriate for the weather.
Every citizen should approach their health with special attention and responsibility, protecting both themselves and those around them.
