Document acceptance for Hajj pilgrimage has been extended until the first weekend of April.
Modern.az reports that this was announced by Vüsal Cahangiri, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO) and head of the Hajj electronic system.
He stated that there are also minors among those registered. According to him, 92 percent of the quota has already been filled, and only 8 percent of places remain. Vüsal Cahangiri appealed to citizens, recommending that those wishing to go on the Hajj pilgrimage register without delay.
It should be noted that initially, the final registration date for the Hajj pilgrimage was set until the end of the month of Ramadan.
It should be recalled that in the 2026 Hajj season, the price of a pilgrimage package for one person is 6100 US dollars.
The documents required for the Hajj pilgrimage are as follows. General civil passport (must be valid for at least 1 year). Copy of identity card. 2 color photographs measuring 5x5 cm on a white background (women in dark hijab). Health certificate.
