More than 70 thousand jobs have been created in Baku.
According to information obtained by Modern.az from the State Statistical Committee, a total of 78,411 new jobs were opened in the capital during the year. The same indicator was 68,965 in 2024.
The highest number of new jobs by district was recorded in Narimanov district. The total number of jobs opened here within one year was 14,708. It is followed by Nasimi (12,847), Khatai (10,897), and Yasamal (9,851) districts. The lowest indicator was recorded in Pirallahi district (30).

At the same time, 11,155 new enterprises and organizations were established in Baku in 2025.
Khatai district (1,973) was the leader in this indicator. Yasamal (1,785), Narimanov (1,519), and Nasimi (1,380) ranked next. The fewest new enterprises were again recorded in Pirallahi district (70).
