Adil Aliyev has been appointed a member of the International Development Committee of the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO).
Modern.az reports that this was stated in an official letter sent by WAKO President Roy Baker.
It was noted that this appointment is an indicator of Adil Aliyev's contributions to the development of sports, particularly kickboxing, in Azerbaijan and the wider region.
The letter noted that the chairman of the International Development Committee is Espen Lund, WAKO's First Vice-President.
The main objective of the Committee is to develop, expand, and promote the sport of kickboxing in various regions of the world, strengthen cooperation between countries, and implement initiatives that serve to achieve mutual understanding and excellence in sports.
WAKO leadership congratulated Adil Aliyev on this prestigious appointment and wished him success in his future endeavors. (Musavat)
