Since the morning of March 27, the Baku City Executive Power, the heads of the capital's District Executive Powers, their apparatus, and relevant economic structures have been operating in an enhanced work regime.
Information on this matter was provided to Modern.az by the Press Service of the Baku City Executive Power (BCEP).
It was reported that in some areas, problems arose in the removal of water by collectors due to rainfall that was several times higher than the norm during the day.
In this regard, today, Elshan Salahov, the head of the Khazar District Executive Power, visited the area where a flood occurred in Shuvalan settlement, and Elkhan Allahverdiyev, the head of the Binagadi District Executive Power, visited the area where an accident occurred in Binagadi district. The executive heads gave relevant instructions to the district's economic entities regarding the elimination of the consequences of the rain.
Other such areas within the city are identified by monitoring groups and submitted to the State Agency for Water Resources of Azerbaijan. Work continues towards eliminating the consequences of the rainfall by the relevant authorities.
