The “Agreement on Cooperation in the Fields of Science and Higher Education between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation of the Kingdom of Morocco”, signed on February 16, 2026, in the city of Rabat, has been approved.
Modern.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev has signed a Decree in this regard.
After the Agreement specified in this Decree enters into force, the Ministry of Science and Education is instructed to ensure the implementation of its provisions, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is instructed to send a notification to the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco regarding the completion of the domestic procedures necessary for the Agreement to enter into force.

The “Agreement on Strategic Partnership for the Restoration of Educational Infrastructure in the Syrian Arab Republic between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Education of the Syrian Arab Republic, and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization” has been approved.
Modern.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev has signed a Decree on this matter.
According to the Decree, after the Agreement enters into force, the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan must ensure the implementation of its provisions, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan must send a notification to the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization regarding the completion of the domestic procedures necessary for the Agreement to enter into force.
