The requirements for issuing a permit for domestic ordered transportation have been tightened.
Modern.az reports that this is reflected in the amendment to the Law "On Motor Transport" approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
In relation to irregular passenger transportation, which is a type of domestic ordered transportation, as well as regular international and intercity (inter-district) passenger transportation, the existence of documents confirming the following mandatory insurances will also be required for obtaining a permit:
- individual accident insurance for passengers transported by motor vehicle;
- mandatory civil liability insurance for motor vehicle owners;
- mandatory insurance against loss of professional working capacity of a motor vehicle driver due to accidents and occupational diseases.
