As a result of incessant rains that fell for several days in Baku and its settlements, residents of some residential areas in a dangerous situation have been temporarily accommodated in hotels.
Modern.az reports that the Press Service of the Baku City Executive Power (BŞİH) has issued a statement regarding this.
According to the information, the elimination of the consequences of the rain in the settlements of Baku is being continued.
It was noted that as a result of incessant rains that fell for several days in Baku and its settlements, flooding was observed in some areas; although accumulated water has already been cleared in many places, this work is being continued in some areas.
Regarding the current situation, appeals have been received by district executive authorities from residents. Based on these appeals, evacuation work has been carried out in Sabunçu, Khazar, and Binəqədi districts.
It was stated that currently, water pumping operations are being continued through special equipment in the settlements of the aforementioned districts.
