In March 2026, a total of 91 people were hospitalized in the Toxicology Department of KTM due to poisoning of various origins.

It was reported that as a result of timely and correct treatment measures, the condition of 88 patients was stabilized, and they were discharged home for outpatient treatment in satisfactory condition.
Of the patients, 42 people were admitted for treatment due to poisoning from medicinal preparations, 3 people from rat poison (rodenticide), 24 people from acetic acid, 3 people from corrosive solutions, 4 people from allergic reactions, 2 people from alcoholic beverages, 5 people from carbon monoxide, 5 people from anaphylactic shock, and 3 people from organophosphorus compounds.
Specialized toxicological assistance, as well as intensive therapy and detoxification measures, were applied to all patients by medical personnel.
Despite the intensive treatment measures undertaken, unfortunately, it was not possible to save the lives of 3 individuals (male).
The main causes of death were toxic conditions resulting from poisoning with drugs and acetic acid.
