Novruz Məmmədov, who was represented in Azerbaijan's political elite for a long time, served as Ramiz Mehdiyev's deputy in the Presidential Administration for 5 years, also served as head of the Presidential Administration's Foreign Relations Department for 20 years, and held the position of Prime Minister for a period, has lost yet another job.
In response to an inquiry from Modern.az, the Press Service of Azerbaijan University of Languages stated that Novruz Məmmədov ceased his activity as a lecturer at this higher education institution some time ago. It was stated that although he had no health problems, N. Məmmədov resigned from his position by his own application.
To date, 7 of his books, as well as 7 publications he led and served as editor-in-chief, and 3 translated works have been published. The former official is also the author of over 150 articles on scientific, social, and political topics.
It should be recalled that N. Məmmədov, who served as Azerbaijan's 9th Prime Minister, resigned by his own application 6 months after his appointment to the position.
According to information provided by circles close to N. Məmmədov, due to serious health problems of the former minister, his attendance at work is impossible.
