In January-March 2026, 200 volunteers registered to donate their organs after death.
Information on this was provided by the Organ Donation and Transplantation Coordination Center of the Ministry of Health in response to an inquiry from Modern.az.
It was reported that, in total, the number of individuals who voluntarily registered to become organ donors after death is approximately 1400.
The institution noted that, to date, approximately 70 organs have been transplanted in total from cadaveric donors.
