Recently deceased journalist Rashad Bakhshaliyev's daughter Yağmur Bakhshaliyeva made a touching post on social media.
Modern.az reports that Y. Bakhshaliyeva stated in her post after her father's death that not everyone could fully see her father's love for the homeland:
“If only they could have seen the love for the homeland within you, for which you exchanged your most beloved work, your pen, for a bayonet… They only saw it in pictures, in interviews…”
The post notes that although R. Bakhshaliyev sometimes did not receive full compensation for his work, he worked for hours and never complained:
“Sometimes, even if he didn't have money to buy something for us, he would sit in front of the computer for hours, lost in thought, because of work that delayed his pay or only gave him half of it. But he never complained…”
“Even if he didn't see the reward for his efforts, my father was the best, most valuable person in the world and a perfect father… I would not trade your existence for anything, my father, I love you very much…” – she stated in her post
