In Azerbaijan, in the first 3 months of the current year, 6 men adopted their spouse's surname upon entering into marriage.

Modern.az reports that information on this matter was provided by the Ministry of Justice.

It was also reported that in 2025, 52, in 2024, 62, and in 2023, 109 men adopted their spouse's surname upon entering into marriage. ("Report")
