Modern.az reports that Mixail Zabelin, a deputy of the Milli Majlis, addressed a letter of gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
In the letter, the deputy expressed his gratitude for the high trust placed in him and highly appreciated his awarding with the 1st degree “For Service to the Fatherland” order on the eve of his 80th anniversary.
M. Zabelin noted that the Fatherland is not just a concept for him; it means native land, people, and statehood. He emphasized that the Azerbaijani people, under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, have gone through difficult and glorious days, achieving a historic victory by fighting for the liberation of Karabakh from occupation.
The deputy stated that the victory achieved in the 44-day Patriotic War demonstrated the unity, will, and loyalty to the state of all peoples living in Azerbaijan. According to him, all citizens, regardless of nationality and religion, united for the restoration of the country's territorial integrity.
It was also noted in the letter that his awarding with the 1st degree “For Service to the Fatherland” order once again confirms that the President treats all citizens equally in Azerbaijan.
In conclusion, Mixail Zabelin thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the high appreciation given to his activities and wished long life, peace, and prosperity to the head of state, his family, and the Azerbaijani people.
