At the inter-parliamentary international football tournament of TÜRKPA member states held in Antalya, Turkey, the Azerbaijani team lost to their Turkish counterparts in the final match.
Modern.az reports that in the 14th minute of the match, Fatih Şahin, in the 26th minute, Oktay Çanak, and in the 60+2 minute, Turkey's Minister of Youth and Sports, Osman Bak, scored.
However, the Azerbaijani team could only score one goal in return. Thus, in the 49th minute, Farid Mammadguluzade scored.
Azerbaijani MP Kamran Bayramov was injured in the match and left the game.
In the tournament, Turkey took first place, Azerbaijan took second place, and the Kyrgyz parliamentary team took third place.
It should be noted that this tournament is being held for the first time. Six teams are competing in the event.
The Azerbaijani team first lost to Kyrgyzstan with a score of 1:2, then defeated Northern Cyprus with a score of 3:0, advancing to the final as group winners.
