Fluctuations in global energy markets amidst US-Iran tensions have significantly impacted oil prices, creating important signals for the Azerbaijani economy. Against the backdrop of increasing oil revenues, which are one of the main income sources for the state budget, the issue of reviewing budget parameters has become topical.
Regarding the matter, Azer Amiraslanov, Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, and Entrepreneurship, made a statement to Modern.az.

The deputy stated that the upward trend in oil prices did not last long:
“The upward trend in oil prices amidst the war does not cover a long-term period and currently does not create grounds necessitating changes in the state budget parameters,” the committee chairman emphasized.
