Meetings to be held in the next period should be organized in a more purposeful and topic-based manner.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Şamil Ayrım, Chairman of the Turkey-Azerbaijan Friendship Group, at the 13th meeting of the Working Group on Inter-Parliamentary Relations between Azerbaijan-Turkey-Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the Milli Majlis.
“Meetings should now be held according to an agenda. For example, the next meeting should be dedicated to the topic of energy, and all specialists in this field should participate and present concrete proposals.”
The deputy emphasized the importance of a similar approach in the agricultural sector:
“Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Cyprus have significant experience in the field of agriculture. Sharing these experiences and conducting coordinated planning is very important.”
Şamil Ayrım believes that if a correct strategy is applied in this area, the countries of the region can fully ensure food security:
“If serious planning is implemented in agriculture, neither Turkey, nor Azerbaijan, nor Cyprus will have problems with meat, wheat, or other agricultural products.”
Finally, he emphasized that such practical and results-oriented cooperation mechanisms among Turkic states will make a significant contribution to the realization of the organization's 2040 vision.
