A decision was made regarding Western Zangezur

Armenian authorities are consolidating the communities in Lori, Syunik (Western Zangezur), and Vayots Dzor (Goycha).

Modern.az reports that, according to the decision, the creation of 3 large communities is planned: Stepanavan (Lori), Goris (Syunik), and Yeghegnadzor (Vayots Dzor). 9 communities and 80 settlements are involved in the programs.

According to the decision, Goris city, and the villages of Tatev and Digh, within the Goris community, are being merged.
