Yesterday, the first academic buildings of the Italy-Azerbaijan University were opened in Baku. The opening of the Italy-Azerbaijan University was attended by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and the President of Italy Sergio Mattarella, who was on an official visit to our country.
Modern.az sent an inquiry to ADA University to obtain information regarding which faculties admit students and how many students are currently studying at the Italy-Azerbaijan University.
In response to our inquiry, it was stated that student admission to the university has been carried out at the master's level since 2023. Currently, 538 students are studying at the bachelor's level and 102 at the master's level across 8 bachelor's and 2 master's programs taught here.
It was noted that 3 of the specializations are dual degree programs.
“The study programs cover specializations in electrical and electronics engineering, architecture, interior and communication design, urban planning, agriculture and food technologies, animal husbandry, and various management fields. In addition to bachelor's and master's programs, regular professional development and certificate programs are also implemented for professionals,” the information states.
It should be recalled that the foundation of the Italy-Azerbaijan University buildings was laid in 2022 in Baku with the participation of the foreign ministers of both countries.
