In secondary schools, there will be no classes for 5 days.
Modern.az reports that, according to the Cabinet of Ministers' decision "On the approval of the duration of the academic year in general education institutions", the winter break for schoolchildren traditionally falls on the last week of January.
Also in the 2025–2026 academic year, the winter break will cover the dates January 27–31.
After the holiday period ends, since February 1 falls on a Sunday, students will start the second semester from February 2.
