An audit has been conducted at Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction.
Information on this was provided by the Chamber of Accounts in response to an inquiry from Modern.az.
The institution stated that the audit was conducted by the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan based on its 2025 Work Plan.
However, the process will not be limited to a single university. According to the information obtained, this is the first step of a large-scale monitoring initiated to verify transparency in higher education institutions. Following AzMİU, financial inspections and audits related to the use of state funds are expected to be conducted in other state universities in the coming months.
Experts believe that this wave of audits aims to uncover gaps in university budget expenditures and strengthen financial discipline.
