Winter holidays will begin in general education institutions on January 27.
Information on this was provided to Modern.az by the State Agency for Preschool and General Education.
According to the relevant Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers “On the Approval of the Duration of the Academic Year in General Education Institutions”, the winter holidays for the 2025–2026 academic year in general education institutions will begin on January 27. The holiday will cover the dates January 27–31 and will last for 5 days.
The decision also applies to pre-school preparation groups of general education institutions.
It should be noted that in general education institutions operating with a five-day and six-day working week, the first school day after the holiday is February 2, 2026.
