In 2026, teachers of 5 subjects working in general education institutions will be involved in the certification process for the first time.
According to Modern.az, the certification will cover teachers teaching history, technology, music, fine arts, and physical education.
It should be noted that in the certification exams, along with relevant subject teachers each year, teachers who could not achieve the passing score in previous years can also participate. Thus, for example, teachers who could not achieve the relevant passing score are given the opportunity to retake the exam. This process is called the “re-certification exam”.
It should be noted that a total of 40,000 teachers are planned to undergo certification by the end of 2026.
It should be recalled that in 2025, certification exams were held for teachers of biology, chemistry, physics, geography, and informatics.
